Photo Shoot with "Active Magazine" for the Nov/Dec. Issue
Tuesday, September 15th, "Active" Magazine was here at the store to photo us for their cover story for the Nov/Dec. issue which will be available at the end of Oct., at Chapters, Indigo, Mike's Place in Newcastle and of course at the store!

WOW, what a day! It started at 8:30 in Oshawa at Marg's Hair Designs, Elke did my hair which Elke was outstanding!! How come I can't do that! Then rush to the store to get my makeup done. |

Stephanie VanAlstyne who owns "Party Princess" in Bowmanville, and also works for CTV as a makeup artist did my makeup, Unbelievable...I call her the miracle worker, superb! |
| The outfit I wore which was a knit and fur suit from Diva's Den in Newcastle, that Trish, whom I just love, sure has an eye for style! And last but not least eyeglasses by Justin Barry in Bowmanville, he is the best in my eyes, ha! He is the eye artist of all. The people that I have mentioned are #1 in their fields and I would recommend them highly! |  |
Now to the store I am so honoured to have this opportunity and could not have done it without my very talented and devoted staff, whom I love. The girls worked 24/7 and it shows with their spectacular displays! They worked hard and long for this very special day. THANK YOU!!!
It is a must come to see, get a jump on Christmas, and as of today there is only 98 days until Christmas Eve!

Rona - the big move to a new building on Toronto Street.
Algoma Orchards - to their new establishment.
All huge plus (es) for our beautiful community.
Also coming up in November, is our Santa Claus Parade. We are looking for lots of music, floats and volunteers, please call or email me if you are at all interested.
We have beautiful glass pumpkins in for the fall from Kitras Glass which is hand made in Fergus, Ont.
The new Yankee Scents are in for the fall also, and napkins, table covers, etc.
